The West Virginia Clogging Company LLC story  begins with rhythm, legacy, and a deep-rooted connection to Appalachian tradition. From an early age, clogging wasn’t just something Director Kevin M. did; it was something that shaped him. Driving beats and the communal pulse of a team became home in his formative younger years.

 

Through years with other groups and mentors across the region, nation and even Internationally, Kevin grew not only as a dancer, but as a leader, choreographer, instructor,  champion advocate for the art form. Over time, he became known for more than precision footwork. He brought high energy, inclusivity, humor, discipline, and heart into every rehearsal space, every event venue and in every performance, he participated in.

His background in cheerleading, professional coaching, performances and leadership all blended into a unique teaching and mentor style—one that valued excellence and people while keeping the environment fun and light hearted! West Virginia Clogging Company, LLC (WVCC) is a place where tradition is honored, growth is structured, dancers are supported, and community engagement is paramount. WVCC wasn’t meant to replace anything—it’s meant to be something new, fun, entertaining, educational and local to folks who wish to enjoy this fun dance!
